Tilt & Slide Doors

OPEN ARCHITECTURAL tilt and slide doors are a unique, hybrid design that incorporates a tilt-in, hopper window and a sliding glass window. This multi-functional window has the ability to tilt in at the top to allow for ventilation, or fully slide across a track for unobstructed views and an opened living space. This sliding door has the benefits and convenience of a tilt-window with flush-close frames, and no additional floor tracks.

Configuration

Tilt and slide doors can be manufactured to fit any sized opening. The doors come in three different sliding configurations: OX, OXO, and OXXO, where the O stands for a fixed panel and the X stands for an operable panel. The OX configuration has one operable and one fixed panel, with the operable panel sliding behind the fixed one when opened. The OXO configuration consists of one operable panel sandwiched between two fixed panels. When opened, the operable panel can slide behind either of the fixed panels that it is adjacent to. Lastly, the OXXO configuration consists of two operable panels in the middle, with one fixed panel at either extremity. One operable panel slides left and the other operable panel slides right. Additionally, each panel in each configuration, both operable and fixed, is able to tilt open.
